This is the page for applying to play a character in Raise the Earth! Before you fill out the application, make sure you’re familiar with the rules, and that the character you’re applying for is not taken and not reserved by someone else (and maybe reserve them yourself!). If you’re already in the game and one of your characters has an activity strike, you can’t apply for another - pass activity with the ones you have first!

You can read through the application here; the textarea below contains an exact copy, including directions, of this one. There are a few special kinds of applications, also; if you’re looking for those, skip past this and look there first!

When you post an application, your title line should contain your preincarnation’s name, their canon, and whether or not you reserved that character. That gives you a subject that looks more or less like:

Remember that Raise the Earth doesn't have canon points; your get your character's whole life to work with, so make it count! In most cases, we're just looking for how the character lived their life in their world - this doesn't need to include events that have nothing to do with them. For original characters, you'll want to talk about the rest of the world somewhat, as it establishes what's going on around the character, too. If you have headcanon you'd like to use, that's okay, but mark it somehow - we recommend bolding or italicizing it.

You are welcome to write as much as you like here; if you prefer to link to a wiki of some kind that has more information, that's allowed. However, if you use a link, you still need to write something about your character's place in their canon. Unsupported links will not be accepted!

Reincarnation Information

Age: Starting age. Please remember that one year has passed since the invasion! That means, ICly, the game starts on July 25th, 2016.
Species: Usually human; you don’t need to include this if that’s the case. Characters can start as other animal races that occur on Earth; their first Echo needs to return sentience.
Appearance: Any differences between your character’s canon appearance and how they look now?

Starting Location: Many of the old Echo barriers, which were Numbered hotspots, are still functional; Locke City is badly damaged, and Las Vegas is a wasteland. Characters aren’t restricted to specific places, though - they can go anywhere. This is mostly for us to figure out what areas are most busy. Need ideas? Check the locations page.

History: What kind of life has your reincarnated character lived? You don’t need to go into a lot of detail, but talk about how they grew up, their major successes and failures, the things that shaped them… you’re looking to provide a bio about how your character became who they are as the game opens. Please remember that the world of Raise the Earth, while similar to our Earth, has experienced a few major changes that might affect the last little bit of time, specifically about eighteen months leading up to Raise the Earth opening. You can find more information in the FAQ.

Personality: How is your reincarnated character different from their preincarnation? Your character can different as much or as little as you want, but there need to be at least some differences. Our advice is to pick three or four key things to change, and shape the rest from there. Consider the effect that each change will have; if you’re not sure how something will work, bring your ideas together and test them against other characters first - there’s always an open test drive meme to use for that. If things aren’t clicking, look at your changes and try swapping things around.

Starting Echoes: You get a package of starting Echoes to help give your character a little more feel from their original self. When you start play, your character may have up to six Echoes, at most two of which may be Tier 2 Echoes. You need at least one. All of these are plot Echoes, but if you’d like, you’re welcome to make any or all of them recurrence Echoes if you have ideas in mind. Otherwise, these follow the normal Echo rules - they have limits, and if they’re recurrences, what they give back has to match the trigger event. Tier 2 Echoes can handle more at once, usually returning two separate things, but the two things returned need to be related to each other somehow. Goals for RtE: What kinds of things are you looking to do in the game? Where do you see your character fitting in? Is there anything we can do to help you reach your goals? While Raise the Earth has an overarching plot, it’s a heavily player-driven game, so it helps us to know the kinds of things our players want to do. We have ways to see to it that certain things find their way into the plot, and we’re not above helping make sure things happen. Please be honest! This can be as vague or specific as you want; it can involve playing with certain Echoes or abilities, making certain CR happen, doing specific things, or maybe something we haven’t even considered. If you don’t have any particular plans, that’s fine, too. Just keep us posted! We want to make sure you’re getting everything you want out of the game, so having a roadmap of what players and characters want helps us guide events. This section doesn’t affect how we judge your application.

Samples

Third-Person Sample
This should be an introspective sample that shows us your character’s thought process, either in conversation with another character, or alone; normally, it’ll look like a log in the game would. It should be at least 100 words, and it needs to be written in prose, not in brackets. This should show us some of the things you talked about in your personality section! If we’re having a hard time seeing the character shines through, or there are factual or logic errors compared with what you told us in the rest of the application, we’ll ask for revisions. You can use a thread from the test drive meme to replace this sample; we’re looking for either a well-written prose prompt, or several prose tags from your character.

First-Person Sample
This should be a sample of the character interacting with others. We’re looking for how the character expresses themselves, so it’ll probably look like a network post. This one needs to be dialogue heavy, which means bracket-style rather than prose. We’re still looking against your personality, but this is more for us to find your character’s voice. If the post doesn’t sound like the sense we’re getting from personality and history, or there are factual or logic errors compared with what you told us in the rest of the application, we’ll ask for revisions. You can use a thread from the test drive meme to replace this sample; it needs to have at least five comments from your character.

LEGACY CHARACTERS

We’re glad to have you back! Some things have changed since Save the Earth; a year’s passed, and the invasion left some dangerous consequences to deal with. If you’re not already familiar with what’s going on, you might want to hit up the FAQ before you app back in.

You'll need to submit a full application for your existing character; you're welcome to re-use your old one, but please shuffle things to make them fit into the new application format. You'll also need to edit your character's reincarnated history and personality to cover what they went through in Save the Earth, and to cover the time between the end of the invasion and now. Returning characters get up to two more Echoes of your choice; as before, you can use plot triggers to claim them, or recurrences if you've got a handy trigger. We'll accept Echoes from the test drive meme, too. In the application, link to your character's info post, then also add the additional Echoes you're requesting. When you're accepted, add them to your info post as normal.

COMBO PITCH AND APP

You can play more than one character in a slot, if they’re characters that make sense to leave together, via a combo application! Use this for things like twins that are never apart, two characters sharing the same body, and so on. Before you can submit the application, we’re going to want to hear a pitch of why you’re going this route; that’s why there are two forms below. Submit the first in a comment, and if it’s approved, comment to our approval with your normal application, covering all characters involved. Combo apps take up one character slot, no matter how many characters the app covers.

GUEST STAR APPS

Normally, this would be where we have information on applying for a temporary character, who starts with extra Echoes, but doesn’t stick around for a long time - it’s a good mechanic for things like short-term villains or mentor-types, or really anyone that you want to throw at the setting for a while, but you don’t think you could maintain for a long time (either because the Numbered would hunt them down, or you just aren’t confident in the character’s longevity). Because the game isn’t open yet, Guest Star applications are closed. Consider apping a character with intent to keep them around, or checking back a little later, once the world is stable.

Post-StE Activities:

After the invasion, Dani didn't stray too far from her cousin's side, helping out where ever she could at first. Although it didn't take long for her to catch on that she could not get a hold of the rest of her family, Her father, Mother and sister. From time to time, She'd leave to go and search about for any clue, although she hasn't found much of anything. All of this is getting her to grow up a bit more then what she's been doing before now. Going to places on your own and exploring to find out things will do that to a child, even one as quiet as Dani.

All of this searching and helping has brought her out of the shell she had backed into and made her into more open and curious child. More then ever she wants to get out there and help, speak out and try and make the image for everyone a bit brighter then what it may seem.

Other then that, she's been quietly playing what games she can. Gaining a stronger bond with Arthur and Celine and just trying to start growing up and maturing to be a better person.

Recurrence Echoes need to be novel (first time) experiences that directly have something to do with what's being returned via echo. We don't feel that the trigger of playing video games is specific or novel enough to warrant the memory returned to Blaise. Please edit to reflect a more specific and first-time occurrence in the video game that would trigger the echo, or else do not specify the trigger (since pre-game echoes are considered "plot echoes", the appropriate trigger can be acceptably inferred without elaboration.)

Post-StE Activities: First, in regards to personal life, Lily and Winter - at some point - were married, and if they were stuck together like glue before, well... In line with Winter hopping about the world to try and right the wrongs of their image, successful or not, Lily's been right there beside her both as a handy transport tool and in attempting to be a mediator where possible. She's kept in touch with her friends as best as possible, and was right behind others in helping to set up Shepherd's Haven, while also making certain that her family - both old and new - are situated and safe as well.

In her free time, Lily's been putting her efforts into producing a book to tell the Numbered's story from their perspective. Titled "By The Numbers: A Story of Rebirth," she used a combination of her own experiences and talking with others to relay what she knows as facts, while keeping things she was asked not to reveal to the public eye as requested. Of course, any sort of controversial figure releasing such a thing is sure to gain attention the world over, and it's not like she'd had any problems moving copies or making money off it... but there are plenty of people the world over ready to blame them, and she's had just many critics and people trying to debunk their side of it and pick her apart. She'd spent a lot of time during their initial struggles supporting Winter and letting her be the one to speak for them; in stepping forward herself it's both made her a little stronger and put a much larger target on her head she's not entirely sure yet how to deal with.

Maintaining a connection to the Great Heart Tree, which now drifts along the world awaiting the next time its power is needed, Lily still holds steadfast to her duty as a Precure. She's ready to help where they're needed - and now, the entire world can be their stage for that.

Goals for RtE: While someone who always wants to be there to help people, Lily has often tripped up over her own problems. Now at the world's stage and with so much behind them, I want her to be someone who can truly reach out to other characters and help them on their way, while working to pursue a good life with her family and friends. In a way she may be a little more independent, at least in personality, because she will always rely on those around her, knowing that's where her strength comes from.

Post-StE Activities: Like Summer, Rose couldn't hold herself back to defend the alien forces attacking Germany. They fought to defend it, and won - and from there on she found herself with an unparalleled level of freedom. With the loss of her sister, and no true family to speak of, Rose became even more attached to Summer. Whereas Lily in the past year has become more open and capable of standing on her own two feet, Rose... Well, she was rather obsessed with Summer's doppelganger before. Now when she's all Rose has, her aggression towards defending her and doing whatever may be deemed as doing "right" by her has hit a whole new level.

Which is not to say she is any sort of a mindless drone, it's just that Summer's newfound role dismantling trouble the world over in her own special way is right up Rose's alley, in effect helping to pacify the otherwise seemingly unquenchable aggression built into Rose's very being. A desire to be better than her sister, to be something worthwhile even if it's just to one person drives her. She's not exactly anything she'd want to call a hero, but she figures she's better than what she could have been - even if she's done particularly awful things to get there.

Starting Location: The general vicinity of Summer and breaking the bones of anything that gets between them-- err, I mean. Paris! Mostly. She can sort of transport wherever she so pleases though, something they've assuredly abused quite a bit.

Goals for RtE: The inverse of Lily, but without the restraints placed on her in the past... I'm simply interested to see what that results in when mixing her with various characters and situations, both old and new. There's a lot of potential to be more than she IS, it's all a matter of whether or not she can get the push to go there. For the time being, she's quite happy at least being Summer's blunt instrument of destruction and whatever else she may be needed for.

Being an obvious Numbered made her a target, it didn't take long before she was set upon by a large group of citizens, forcing her to leave. Enraged by what she saw was extreme ungratefulness, she left, vowing to never bother lifting a finger to help normal humans again, telling them she wished the aliens wiped Locke of the face of the Earth. Unwilling to go to New Zealand to live like "a plebeian" as she put it (she was promptly told to apologize), she left for Gateway City to join her parents, who managed to evacuate there after escaping Vegas on the eve of the invasion.

Since then, Emilia has been not only trying to persuade Celine to come live with her only to be turned down every time she asked when she visited. She still made it a point to include Celine in her life, because someone has to get that grump to lean how to have a little fun.

As for Arthur, she had not yet been engaged to him due to the chaos of the year that passed by, but now that things are beginning to calm, she is starting to make plans... And of course try to make sure her cousin stays put.

Post-StE Activities: Unlike some of those who had a harder life to begin with or echoes that would make it far easier to adjust to the kind of world left behind after the invasion, Richard found things very difficult in the beginning. Combat skills aside, he was still a regular person with an increasingly quirky sense of humour occasionally bordering on personally sadistic. That particular side of his personality needed to be pushed aside while the small communities that remained tried to rebuild, and it didn't take much persuading for him to up sticks out of the by then very dangerous city of Locke and head to Shepard's Haven with the rest of his strange little adopted family.

There, the skills he gained came more from experience than further echoes. In fact, given the circumstances, he didn't have any more echoes for several months and began to assume that they were finished with as far as he was concerned. That was something of a relief, until the first time he jokingly set foot on a skateboard and had the very sudden echo of owning an utterly ridiculous flying board that he couldn't pinpoint the origins of. Why were so many of his echoes just so dumb? Following another not long after, needless to say... he's been finding himself becoming increasingly concerned.

With his previous career choice not really viable anymore, he had to employ other skills in order to find work. Luckily for him, the extraordinary strength and speed granted to him by previous echoes became an asset. There's always something that needs to be done, and though it wasn't as easy to get by he hasn't found himself feeling particularly discontent. There's really been no time for that kind of thing.

In terms of personal relationships, the worry over the way his echoes affect his personality has caused him to go through cycles of drifting away from people that he would have once been eager to call his friends. Forming new connections is tricky at best, but there have always been a few constants - people he doesn't only call friends, but family.

Starting Location: Shepard's Haven in New Zealand

Additional Echoes: Tier 1/Memory: An echo of that dumb flying skateboard (Unreal Air)

Tier 1/Memory: Splintered memories of his time bringing up a kid that have left him with serious doubts as to the sanity of his Other. In addition to the strong sensation of needing to keep that kid safe, there is now also the fractured mental images of frequently (and unsuccessfully) attempting to kill him.

Goals for RtE: Not gonna lie, my major plan - personally - is to be more involved here than I managed to be in StE. Coming into such a far-developed game didn't allow me to dig as deeply into it as I would have liked, and this is a good fresh opportunity.

Richard has some good grounding and what development he got was good too, but with the recent canon information showing just what a problematic character Bro Strider actually is coming to light, it's going to be an interesting journey for him to come to terms with the fact that his Other is a sadistic, potentially abusive prick who quite possibly hated the kid he was raising as much as he needed to keep him alive.

Post-StE Activities: Misa remained in Tokyo for the first couple of months after the invasion, working as a journalist and explaining what she could to those who had lingering questions about the Numbered. She also helped with general revival efforts for the city, though more through desk work than manual labor.

When Lazarus, Nathan, Tony and others moved to a farm in New Zealand, she went with them. Misa basically hated every second of it, but remained for two reasons: 1) worry about Lazarus’s mental condition, wanting to remain close to him and help, 2) paranoia about living alone fueled partially by the anti-Numbered sentiments in some parts of the world, but mostly by having received several echoes of her Other being a victim of violence, kidnapping, stalking. Though city life was far more appealing to her, she was uncertain about making the move alone, primarily because she was afraid of the awful things she learned about through Echoes to happening to her too.

Misa’s paranoia about being alone is for the most part not born out of any bad thing that has happened to her personally; it’s the stalking echo in conjunction with others she has received in the past that tipped this off. Also the fact that her parents were murdered in both lives, suggesting to her that other overlaps might occur.

Starting Location: New Zealand. Still has ties to Tokyo.

Additional Echoes:
1) Misa tried writing an alien’s name in the Death Note during the invasion. Nothing happened, but unbeknownst to her, the Notebook can now cause heart attacks. All other functionality still nerfed.

2) Plot echo: Receives an outfit which goes with the shoes she received from a previous echo. Wearing them together, she echoes back the memory of being attacked by a stalker while she was walking home one night; he demanded that she marry him, and attacked her with a knife when she refused, but then suddenly stopped and started to walk away before collapsing.

Goals for RtE: Misa is going to continue coming to terms with the fact that her other was a serial killer, as was the man of her dreams. A large part of her time in RtE will be dedicated to figuring out where she belongs, with her home in Tokyo but most of the people she loves in NZ, as well as dealing with powers she doesn’t want/know what to do with. And of course, trying to keep those aspects of herself hidden from others as she comes to terms with them.

Post-StE Activities: With Bragigas back to full, transforming size and the Echo barriers lifted, Torin has been spending the bulk of his time travelling the world and checking on Earth's animals. He has a nature reserve of sorts built within Bragigas--he made sure to travel North America and rescue animals from ruined zoos shortly after the invasion, and he's been a quiet environmental crusader ever since. His hobbies now include hanging around wildlife reserves and scaring the absolute crap out of poachers. This has earned him a couple of nicknames in animal trafficking circles that roughly translate as "Silver Winged Demon" and "That Crazy Bird." He has been working very dilligently to learn as many human languages as he can, and he's working very hard to stop at-risk creatures from becoming extinct. It's a cause that's near and dear to his heart, as he was an endangered species of parrot--and his preincarnation worked very hard to prevent the dinosaurs and later humans from being driven to extinction by Deboss.

Starting Location: At the moment, he's got Bragigas parked somewhere in Kenya, though he's social enough to go visiting anywhere and everywhere thanks to the magic of teleportation.

Additional Echoes:
Teleportation: Using an unspecified Plot Echo on this. Basically, Torin's teleportation ability, which in Save the Earth allowed him only to teleport into and out of Bragigas, has returned in full. Exact limits are never described in canon, where he's shown to grab King from the middle of a city and take him to a secluded island in order to fight Gabutyra. It's a place he's been before, and teleportation range is never specified. I'm kind of rolling with his being able to teleport to a place only as long as he's been there before and with six passengers max--enough to move a normal-sized Sentai team or a single elephant he's trying to save. He can't bring Bragigas with him when he does this because Bragigas is so large, but Bragigas canonly does very well at covering these sorts of distances on his own.

Earth's Melody: Using another unspecified Plot Echo on this. In canon, Torin has the ability to listen to the melody of the Earth, which essentially lets him know how the planet is doing and if it needs anything done. In this universe, it could possibly get a little game breaky in a "communicate with the planet" sort of way; I plan on using it as a sort of damage assessment, like he'd be using it to check on how the environment is doing in places. He'd be using it to assist in his efforts to preserve Earth's animal life moreso than actually trying to communicate with anything. It also makes him more sensitive to music that might be used for evil purposes.

Goals for RtE: Torin is pretty much just going to try to dad at everyone and try to see what sort of difference he can make in the lives of the nonhumans of Earth. I wouldn't mind having him try to get into politics or something like that, though he'd likely have to set up a permanent residency somewhere in order to do so. There is also a chance some zoos out there are a bit upset with him for "looting their property" in all the chaos of the aftermath, when he was trying to save as many animals, especially birds, as he could.

Post-StE Activities: Cesar helped Lazarus evacuate the school during the invasion. The school (and teleporter) were destroyed shortly after, leaving him and the Locke refugees stranded in Japan. He responded to this by moving into a temporary small apartment with his lover, helping as both manual and technical labor for reconstruction where he could. This situation continued as Lazarus' medication supply slowly dwindled. Cesar helped him through his episodes in the beginning, but was completely unprepared for how dire things would become as his condition worsened. Finally things came to a head, and Cesar left. He stayed in Japan for a little longer after this, but moved back to America when his old employers had gotten back on their feet in post-invasion Gateway City. They started with acts of charity towards places most severely affected by the invasion (donating medical care packages), and Cesar pitched in wholeheartedly. What better way to ignore his recent troubles than to bury them with flawed coping methods?

Cesar withdrew from the world in the year afterwards, surfacing only to send occasional updates to a select few. He was directly involved with the cause of this mysterious weaponized cancer that surfaced shortly before the invasion, and has since been trying to find a cure for it, or at least a nullifier. The problem has resisted being solved, and he's still working on it now.

Starting Location: Gateway City

Additional Echoes: First echo: Cesar remembers what the acronym EVO stands for, and what sorts of mutations nanites can cause in large numbers. He's now very concerned.

Second Echo: He'll also remember the day that Holiday took a sudden vacation to transport her sister to Dr. Moses's care. (Dr. Moses is unrelated to reincarnated Cesar's brother Moises.) This day was spent helping Rex train and running tests on him, and includes an incident where Caesar set feral EVO hounds loose in the same room where Rex was working.

Goals for RtE:
-Science that gets progressively more and more reckless. I want to bring out the more playful and unpredictable parts that are seen in his canon self's personality.
-Intrigue with Lazarus
-Developing his sciencey-and-friend relationship with Tony, and getting deeper CR with everyone else
-His employers are eventually going to resort to seriously shady (and likely downright immoral) research practices, and Cesar's going to be caught up in the events. More intrigue with everyone involved.
-Coming to terms with past regrets from StE plots
-Drama with Lazarus' clone, Ryuzaki.

While this removed her parents from the business playing field entirely, forcing their retirement, it allowed her to leverage whatever he family had left into multiple ventures: Kaiser Construction, an initiative to build towards reconstruction of areas damaged by the invasion the world over, Kaiser Technologies, a firm dedicated to advancing technology to help the world over, boasting the possibility of a clean and infinite energy source within years, and a charitable organization to help the victims of the invasion. These ventures are, in effect, throwing all her eggs in one basket - it's everything she has, and she's laying it on the line.

Of course, all of these ventures are not wholly trusted by the public - nor is Saretha. She's quite public, and quite outspoken on various matters, especially those that try to denounce Numbered in the public eye. While her efforts in the business world might seem altrusitic to some degree, Saretha's not really lost much of the edge in her attitude. Which has... gotten her in quite a bit of trouble with the media, from time to time.

Starting Location: Gateway City

Additional Echoes: N/A. Saretha's work has kept her from running across too terribly much that would trigger them.

Goals for RtE: My goal is just for Saretha to Be Saretha - outspoken and never really afraid of her challengers. She's aiming for the betterment of everyone this time, having lost much of her need for petty revenge over the course of her journey. Of course, that's not to say she can't be given incentive.

Name: Saretha's doppelganger - "Satsuki." Just that, for now. That alone is enough to get a rise out of Saretha

Post-StE Activities: Satsuki made herself more publicly known to the vast Network when she and Saretha joined forces to reveal a theory on information, advocating the Numbered and their doppelgangers work together. Since then, she vanished, cropping up only during the invasion to defend Silent Swan by sheer compulsion, and then again... drifted into the shadows.

She's been ever quiet since then. There are rumblings in the darker parts of the world of an assassin that can be hired by the highest bidder, seemingly capable of single-handedly obliterating any resistance that stands in her way. This is something that could be highly dangerous to the world at large, if she didn't only do JUST enough to cover her expenses, and then vanish again for distant stretches of time. Just what is she getting up to, with all that? Well, as the world at large begins to experience strange things once more, perhaps it's more likely to draw her into it...

Starting Location: Bouncing from country to country in Europe.

Goals for RtE: Satsuki as an entity was not something I got to fully exploit in StE for her intentions - she wants to play the long game, to leverage that which will benefit her the most in the long run. This could be played for evil or good, or a little bit of both. While Saretha's intentions become more and more altrusitic, Satsuki's self preservation and greed grow more and more with every passing day. That's something I want to explore, over a stretch of time.

Post-StE Activities: After the invasion, Amy did everything she could to pick up her life where it left off. She helped her mother resettle in another area, as the bar was unsalvagable, and moved in with her girlfriend, Saretha, more or less full time. Though she continued to help Saretha with her various enterprises unofficially, their romantic status kept her from working regularly, and Amy started taking classes in Gateway City, where she now resides. She works part time as a cook in a small restaurant in Gateway City as well, and is currently studying Culinary Arts while taking additional classes in business. The mecha she piloted during the invasion is in Saretha's possession, but she does make efforts to keep her skills sharp... when she has the time. She's also dabbled in model building as a way of connecting with her past life.

Starting Location: Gateway City

Additional Echoes: Tier 2 - Memory + Item: Amy gains the a gunpla battle station and the memory of how to use it.
Tier 1 - Item: Amy gains a GP base, which is needed to use the battle station for gunpla battle purposes anyway.

Goals for RtE: Amy has become a more responsible and understanding person since she first became a Numbered, and I want to continue building off of that. She really only ever got to come into her own as a combatant towards the end of the game, and there's room for her to grow in that area still and make use of those skills. Mostly, I want to get her back out there and involved in things and have her continue to grow as a character. She's an adult now, but that's only the beginning of the story.

She still has Neil's Haro, and it is still the biggest smart ass/adorable thing ever.

Name: Amelia Jyrkiäinen, which she changed her name to.
Canon: Amy's doppelganger, who was... never in STE! But I talked to the mods with my ideas for her and she worked in the background.

Post-StE Activities: When the doppelgangers first appeared, Amy's chose not to make herself none. Rather, she kept mostly out of the public eye, sticking close to Saretha's doppelganger and out of sight when she could. Mostly, she made sure she fulfilled her barest minimum requirement to Silent Swan, and once the invasion was over, she disappeared with Satsuki. Focused entirely on herself, her desires, and those she felt she could help her fulfill them, she's been Satsuki's shadow more or less, while doing whatever she can to benefit the two of them and live it up. Satsuki has also helped her hone the fighting skills she retained from Aila, and is better outside of a cockpit than her counterpart.

Starting Location: Bouncing from location to location in Europe.

Goals for RtE: I had very little ideas for Amy's doppelganger in STE, but now, I finally have a concept and the opportunity to use her. All in all, she serves as a much less moral character than the other characters I have, giving me opportunities I didn't have with my other characters, who either straddle the line or are firmly on the side of the angels.

Combo Reasoning: Okay, this is sort of a retroactive thing but since the game's still getting rolling I was wanting to ask if I could upgrade current NPC Evelyn Strauss to a combo-apped Evil-Lyn.

Basically, whenever there's Skeletor, there's Evil-Lyn. She's his right hand through just about every incarnation of the character and is always at his side, scheming away to grab at a chance of power for herself. Whether that's through keeping up the front of loyalty or scheming to undo her "master" from the shadows. Kind of unknowingly, I went and created the perfect role for her here in Raise the Earth as one of the NPCs hovering around Keldek.

If it works, I can write up some quick details to add into Keldek's app. I also only used four Echoes in my initial app so I can apply those to her, assuming she doesn't get her own full set.
