What are Echo Incursions?
Echo Incursions are a new type of phenomenon that occur in the game that differ from other echo-triggering events that occur in this game and![[community profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/silk/identity/community.png)

The main distinction is that, as opposed to individuals that are reincarnated as Numbered, or such events as entire locations appearing in physical form upon the Earth, Echo Incursions are not technically (or always) permanent and appear in a state of how they existed in their original canon. In short, anything that appears as a result of an echo incursion is NOT changing to fit this world, but are rather events, objects, and even living beings that are being recreated as they originally existed.
Where do they come from?
That, for now, is a mystery, but we can tell you that there is an intelligence behind them. The purpose and reason for why they exist will be revealed in time.
What kind of Echo Incursions can we expect to occur?
Echo Incursions will take many forms. They can be large scale or they can be smaller, more focused affairs; in short, the sky's the limit. What's more, they can be based on any canon whatsoever, whether they exist in the game or not. In short, Echo Incursions can take the form of just about anything.
And that's where you, the players, come in. We'd like to accept suggestions for Echo Incursions, which you can submit below. This will give is a pool of Echo Incursions to work from, while also giving us an idea of what kind of events you would all like to see. We cannot promise that every suggestion will be used, but we can promise that they will be considered!
Finally, as always, Echo Incursions will coincide with opportunities for your characters to gain echoes, along with other aspects of the game as well.
